Mizan
Internal spend-approvals platform for Mal: one chat to file requests, AI-assisted review with Sharia-compliance flags, and a receipt-style audit trail for every decision.

What I did
Built Mizan, an internal approvals product where employees file time off, budget, equipment, and access requests through a single chat intake instead of email threads
Designed receipt-style request cards that surface requester, department, line items, totals, and status in a scannable format approvers can act on in one view
Shipped AI-assisted review that flags risk level and Sharia compliance for approvers, with suggested approve, review, or reject guidance per request
Implemented a full audit trail: filing, AI review generation, and approver decisions are logged with timestamps and rationale on every receipt
Built approver actions (approve, reject, request changes) with decision capture and board visibility so finance and ops share one source of truth
Published a demo flow with requester and approver accounts so stakeholders can run chat intake through approval end to end
